Our Board Members
Our Board is responsible for setting our Corporate Strategy, ensuring it reflects our values, vision, mission, and strategic priorities. It provides leadership and oversight to make sure our resources are used effectively, efficiently, and responsibly, while safeguarding our assets.
To support this role, the Board establishes and monitors robust frameworks for control, assurance, and performance. The Board is supported by the Audit and Risk Committee, Operations Committee and Remuneration and Nominations Committee who each provide focused oversight in key areas of our governance.

Hugh Unwin
Board Member and Operations Committee Member
Former Head of ICT & Customer Services, and member of the Senior Management Team, at Victory Housing Trust. Subsequently worked as a consultant leading Customer Services at Saffron Housing Trust, and then leading significant ICT projects for Yorkshire Housing.
Nicholas Doyle
Board Member
Over thirty years experience in the social housing sector in a wide range of positions. An experienced Non-Executive Director, first appointment in 2007 : since then, has worked with a number of organisations including a successful start-up, a national charity and an organisation that had been in operation for 30 years.
Alex Fury
Board Member and Audit & Risk Committee Chair
Leads and manages the Assets & Growth Team and has substantial experience within the sector and its associated delivery functions having worked in Housing Management, Development and a senior Leadership capacity. Experience includes working within Social Housing, Private Developer and Local Authority.
Chris Rennison
Remuneration & Nominations Committee Chair & Board Member
Currently Executive Director for a UK health charity, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the charity’s people activities, including human resources, equality diversity & inclusion, workforce development and Internal Communications. Leads major cultural change programmes and have executive responsibility for estate and facility management and oversight of business continuity planning and crisis management.
Kevin Hornsby
Board Chair & Remuneration & Nominations Committee Member
Leads a directorate of 180 colleagues and a key member of the executive team managing 10,000 homes across North Lincolnshire. Responsible for Customer Services and all landlord services including income, lettings, tenancy support and tenancy management.
Christine Paxton
Board Deputy Chair and Operations Committee Member
Member of the Leadership Team at Karbon Homes, a housing association based in the North East of England. Responsible for brand, reputation management, strategic internal and external communications, transformation and culture change projects alongside growth, innovation, and business development.
John Baker
Board Member and Audit & Risk Committee Member
Has worked in global audit and accountancy firms, leading fraud & corruption prevention and investigation teams. Working with a variety of housing clients including London boroughs (Lambeth, Westminster and Southwark), plus many registered social landlords and property maintenance & management companies.
